My gut feeling is its a BIOS issue or corrupted RAM. It's better to use latest nightly 1.8.0 branch than my unofficial build if you can't wait until Fx 188.8.131.52 release. Also, this doesn't prove that its a problem with Flash, it may be a problem with the interactions between Firefox and Flash when the clock is advanced significantly.
