So I checked it out and found it belonged to a program called Smart Bar then I delved into the program deeper and found that it was Yahoo Smart Bar by We should rename the article to make it more general as far as what website is opening. Uninstalled Ashampo firewall and up dates now work. Other programmes trigger Ashampoo for authorisation of programmes however AVG8 does not trigger Ashampoo Firewall permission box.

While you may have what appears to be normal access to the internet and email, other functions may not be working properly. I've often had only one search engine in the list as others can be added instantly. First eliminate any scumware.
